L- Dark orange/gold, clear, pours with 5mm fine white head, holds well.
S- Has quite a woody/grainy smell.
T- Low key, though a notch above the usual main generic brews on sale in Japan (Kirin, Asahi, Sapporo etc).
F- The mouthfeel has a bit more depth than the above-mentioned generic majors.
O- Considering the price, even the discounted price I paid, this is underwhelming. In comparison just about any beer from Japan's Hitachino Nest range would offer notably more and cost less than this.
Bought from The Japan Centre, just off Leicester Square in London. 330ml bottle, reduced from £8.99(!) to £4.50. BB 11-Sep-2019

While it's a cut above the big name Japanese lagers it's still not special enough to be labeled a 'premium' beer.
