Wise Monkeys is a Belgian golden strong that packs a punch in a devilishly drinkable package. When you raise the glass to your nose, you will detect a bit of fermented stone fruit, specifically peach, and pear. It also has a slightly perceptible sweetness with a semi-dry finish.

Poured into a glass. Clear gold color with medium head. A fruity pear type aroma. The taste is incredible. Sweet at first with a dry hoppy after taste.

Poured a bright clear golden yellow color from tap at the brewery into a tumbler. Nice white head and curtain lacing. Fruity, spicy smell and taste. Sweet candy and hint of cinnamon. Went well with brunch.

Foggy burnt gold with a dense egg-white head that retains thickly lumpy and bumpy.
Solid and true to style, toasty graham meets Belgian phenols accented by pear before a light fluff cushions the palate for the heat that warms the head and hatch.
The medium-light body is a bit silky and finishes with a tingling semi-dryness on the tip of the tongue.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance - The beer pours a clear golden color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma is strong of a biscuit malt and coriander and clove smell. Along with these aromas comes some nice hay, banana, and a little bit of orange and light stone fruit. A bit of yeast rounds it all out, producing a nice smell overall.
Taste - The taste begins with a crisp cracker malt flavor with lots of yeast and some spice flavors of coriander and a bit of clove. There is a bit of sweet harvest fruit and tangerine upfront, which grows stronger as the taste advances. Toward the end, a bit of herb and some hay comes to the tongue, leaving one with a tasty Belgium taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body of the brew is more crisp and light overall. For the style the the feel is great and makes for a great easy drinker.
Overall - A tasty and very well rounded Belgium!! Definitely a good go to!

First taste is quite complex with an amazingly smooth finish, and found myself thinking, "Wow, what just happened there?" in a very, very good way.
This is the type of beer that you will want to sip and enjoy...but it is 10% abv and goes down surprisingly easy so keep that in mind. This is a fantastic beer to sip and enjoy.

1" white head on a bright, crystal clear golden ale. Head retains at a cap and leaves behind some lacing. Persistent bead of carbonation rising to keep the head alive.
Big pretty nose full of fruit, stone fruit and some tropical. Candy sugar nose. Not overly yeasty, a hint. Perceptible hops - a noble type of hop presence...slight spice.
Rich and full of fruit, mango and apricot come to mind.
Medium to full body with a slick mouthfeel. Comes on sweet with that big body but a doesn't finish overly sweet.
This is a wow beer right now, excellent and unexpected -- doesn't drink like 10% abv at all.
