12oz canned 6-1-2020, opened 6-7-2020.
1 finger white head, decent retention and easily revived with a swirl of the glass. Early lacing.
Deep golden color with an initial haze.
Key lime lactic twang is the predominant aroma. Coconut is a secondary character initially and becomes more evident as the beer sits/warms a touch. Baking spice.
Sharp lime flavor with high acidity. Woodsy and creamy coconut intertwine to give a meringue-like character.
Light body, medium carbonation. Sour and medium length finish. The (high) acidity and pucker dries it way out.
I'd prefer a little less acid but that's just preference, nothing wrong with this beer.
Drinkability for my tastes is probably 1 at a time, not a sessioner.
Good to Very Good.
