16oz canned 20200728, opened 8-15-20.
Hazy IPA small batch series...this version "Beta" features Idaho 7.
2 finger white head with a bit cresting over the rim of the glass. Very good retention and a tight bead.
Orange-gold and fully opaque. Thick and sticky lacing.
Big nose of citrus, mainly oranges - fresh and juicy. Some tropical mango-like aromas.
Citrus and more citrus - big orange flavor, some pithy rind and zesty peel.
Initial malt sweetness lingers but dries out will enough in the end.
Full body, low to medium carbonation. Soft mouthfeel and low bitterness. Hits all the notes on feel for NEIPA including a juicy hop finish.
Very Good.
Had can #2 and #3 on 8/17 and 8/18...moving up smell and taste to 4.25, intense, zesty, faint diesel, good garlic all hit my palate just right .
