Fallout is a German-style Hefeweizen with a soft mouthfeel and a balanced presence of clove and banana. This wheat beer is easy drinking with enough bitterness to offset the malt sweetness. It is also one of the most approachable and enjoyable beer styles that harkens back to the early beer days.

Pairs well with: Banana Bread, History, Sausage

Has a great aroma, but not much else. Looks a little pale, and the taste is unmemorable. It's just... decent.

Manhattan Project has pretty good beers, but this isn't one their best.

This beer inspired me to signup for BeerAdvocate. Bought a six pack and its been in my fridge for 9 months. I slipped and opened one today....its really as untasteful as I remembered. Better HEFE from Texas -- try Alstadt from Fredricksberg, its super nice. Rahrs summertime wheat is also a better option. I am partial to Kristallweizen.....which is in short supply here in the States, but I drink hefe in its stead.....Fallout is a fridge queen, something you pawn off on unsuspecting visitors.

Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Bright yellow color with nice fluffy white head and good lacing. Sort of an odd air freshener smell. Not unpleasant just a bit artificial. Taste has the classic hefe profile but a bit watery, same on the feel. Not bad but not something to repeat.
