As it happens, one of the oldest fire houses in Akron is also the closest to our brewery. Old Station 3 on Maple St. in Akron has a rich and storied tradition of men and women risking their lives to keep the residents of Akron safe.
Our first seasonal beer. This IPA takes fresh, fire roasted habanero peppers and infuses them with a west coast style IPA. The pronounced and complex nose of citrus and hot pepper leads to a bold and bitter IPA that is balanced with subtle and slowly increasing heat from the Habanero.

I just had a small taste but the habenero bite was a bit too much for me; next trip there I will ask for a blend of the Station 3 with the Instigator to cut the habenero.
