The Killer Fog is a thoroughly dry hopped hazy NEIPA. The bitterness is rounded out with the delicious tropical, fruity, and herbal notes the hops Amarillo, El Dorado, and Huell Melon bring to this beer.
A plague broke out during the summer of 1826 while the canal laborers were dredging out Summit Lake. In the process of lowering the lake by 9 feet and manually removing 230,000 cubic yards of muck, cholera, typhoid, and malaria broke out and quickly spread throughout the greater Akron area. This plague later became known as the Killer Fog.

Murky orange juice color out of the tap at the brewpub. Thin white head. Light nose of tropical fruit. Flavor of grapefruit peel and tropical fruit. A little harsh on the tongue. Not a typical hazy profile.

Slight khaki colored froth... Limited retention gives way to a full inviting lacing... Color is a hazed murky orangish rogue... Nose of blood orange and grapefruit with a smidge of candied sugar mixed in... Flavor completely as expected but with a bit more pizazz and pop... Medium bodied... Bright and refreshing... Starts lush and finishes with a distinct dry bite... Nice beer... More than expected based on prior reviews...

16oz can from Acme Fresh. Hazy yellow golden pour, small soft white head. Fruity aroma with some savory notes. Taste is soft, light citrus, savory, grassy. Finishes with a light bitterness.

A thanks to the creator of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is mild, hints of citrus. Taste is citrus, some pine, fairly bitter. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Lock 15 Killer Fog
Live review (Evening of June 23, 2022). Poured from a can purchased at the brewery about a year ago. Message on bottom states: Canned on 07/27/20. 14.16.22. WEAR YO MASK
A: Poured into a clean, clear glass, translucent yellow orange body under a generous head that took 3 minutes to dissipate down to a thin layer. 3.5
S: Syrupy sweet, hops bitterness, intriguing. 3.5
T: Taste flows right from the smell. Syrupy sweetness starts, bitter hops envelope the outer edges of my tongue and in the distance it even causes me to create extra saliva. There is a nice balance between bitterness and sweetness which is promised in the description on the can. Sweetness includes a tropical, say like a light pineapple taste. Quite nice. 4.0
M: Mouthfeel is mostly bitter but not overly so. The sweetness balances that out mostly. 4.0
D: Drinkability is high but this 7.5% beer is no lightweight! 4.0

Hazy dark orange with a fluffy to thin white ring leaving rolling hills of lace on the glass.
This is crisp, tingly and popping of spritzy citrus zests and mildly bitter pine as the medium body finishes semi-dry exhaling a faintly herbal dankness.
Mostly balanced and drinkable, not overly impressive or expressive, but also no where near a bad attempt, especially in comparison to other locals.
