A 10-oz pour at the brewery, into a snifter.
Look: Dark brown, with a small tan head that dissipated quickly and left almost no lacing.
Nose: Peanut butter dominant — very nice.
Mouthfeel: Thinner than I would have expected, adequate carbonation.
Attack: Dark grain, a little peanut butter but not as much as suggested in the nose. Also coffee. Actually, not the depth, though, of flavor I would expect in a porter.
Finish: Bitterness from the dark roast — perhaps the best part of the flavor profile.
Overall: Not the best American Porter I’ve ever had, but quite drinkable, and I’d be satisfied ordering it again.

Poured out of a 16 oz can into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a dark brown, almost black color with a creamy looking, tan/light brown head that's about an inch thick when first poured that settles eventually to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with a big cluster swirl of film layer surface foam and very nice lacing. Aromas of roasted malts along with peanut butter, cocoa, and coffee notes followed by a bit of earthy, maybe just ever so slightly piney, hops. Very nice aroma here. A very similar flavor profile, with the aforementioned roasted malts, peanut butter, chocolate and coffee that give both some sweetness and some bitterness and some earthy, maybe just very slightly piney, hops that provide a bit more bitterness. Has a crisp, also smooth, somewhat chewy, resinous (that I think is courtesy of the peanut butter notes this beer has), medium bodied mouthfeel with light to moderate carbonation. All of the flavors linger very nicely for a long time in this beer's aftertaste. Really, a very nice beer here indeed!

Coffee black with a tall, puffy tan foam head.
This exhibits pleasantly toasty wafer with coffee house vibes and hints of chocolate, albeit countered by an herbal bitterness that's got a kind of acrid or even burnt quality.
The round medium body finishes semi-dry.

16 ounce can, canned on 04/13/2020. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a very dark brown color with a half inch tan head that stayed around for a long time. There's also a good amount of lacing. I like the aroma a lot, the brew smells like peanut butter, chocolate and coffee. Taste pretty much follows the aroma, but there's also some burnt/charred malt noticeable too. Nice balance between the sweet and roasty flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy with a good amount of carbonation. Easy enough to drink. I thought this was a pretty good porter, would definitely want to try this again in the future!
