Our Kraut Balls Oktoberfest is a traditional German style Märzenbier. This amber lager has a delicious malty body that pairs with any savory dish or is great in a liter mug all by itself.
The sauerkraut ball is an Akron staple. Its exact origins are unknown, but they have been continually enjoyed in the region for more than 60 years.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This decent little fest pours a medium dark amber with a moderate head of white
foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some faint lacing. Nose
of toasted malts, light floral hops, caramel, and light breaded malts. Flavors follow
the nose with light toasted breaded malts, herbal and floral hops, caramel malt, and
subtle peach nuances. Mouth feel is medium, medium light carbonation, smooth,
and finishing decently balanced.
Overall, a solid fest worth trying.
Cheers

16 ounce can, looks like it says canned on 08.27.24. Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a mostly clear orange/amber color with about an inch off-white head that stuck around a little while. There's also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells mostly like bready and toasted malt, along with some caramel and herbal hops. The taste is pretty much just like the aroma, I think the malt stands out here for sure. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one, worth trying if you come across some!

Slightly foggy dark amber with a fluidly thin bubbly head that dies surprisingly quickly for the style.
A good toastiness meets a lightly leafy and tangy accent, but with more floral qualities than I'd expect for a maerzen.
It's also a little lighter in body than I'd hope for, though with a crisp, tingly finish.
