Turbid dark brown with a short tan blanket.
Smokier and roastier than this should be, tobacco, cigar, and toasted nuts meet the phenols that here become a little peppery or cedar-like in an unusually bitter expression.

To avoid the smog of the factories which were located on Akron’s East and South sides, the higher-ups of the early days of industrial Akron built their mansions on the West side. Head down Merriman Road to see the the stately manors of Akron’s past.
A: really nice opaque dark amber body with light edges served in as appropriate weizebock glass. 4.0
S: wonderful wheat sweetness with a hint of hops. Yummy smell. 4.0
T: really nice wheat and medium roast malt taste with some distant hops. Also present is the style typical bananas, cloves. Taste trails off at the end compared to my favorite beers in the style but taste is very good. 4.0
M. As mentioned, thin feel at the end of the taste is not my favorite aspect of the beer. Beginning and “middle” feel is quite nice, though. 3.0
D: drinkability is high. This beer is very satisfying and goes down easily! 4.5
