I tried this doppelbock beer at the Casual Pint in Toledo, Ohio. It poured a clear dark amber with white head that did not leave much lacing. The scent had hints of malt. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with a sweet malt base from start to finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a decent beer.
