16oz can purchased at Necar-Kendall Yards in Spokane for $3.99.
Poured into an IPA glass, this was a hazy, lemony gold color, with a big, fluffy white head that hung around for a whila and left lots of lace.
Tropical fruit aromas are in the nasal lead, along with some citrusy hop notes as well.
The flavor starts off reminiscent of tropical fruits and a little bit of melon-like flavor. Midway through the taste some citrusy hop flavor reminiscent of oranges and grapefruit come into play. A mildly bitter grapefruitiness takes over at the finish, leaving with a mildly dry zap to the palate.
Medium bodied, with a fairly soft, slightly oily mouthfeel.
Seems like an attempt at a hazy IPA. I'm not well versed with the Huell Mellon or Mandarina Bavaria hops, though Citra is also present. It's a nice change of pace IPA, but not one I'd like to drink regularly or session.
