Slightly hazy amber brew with plenty of foam and lacing in the Affligem chalice. It doesn't taste much like honey, but there's a mellow fruity flavor from start to finish. Really nice sudsy mouthfeel with a pleasant prickle to go with the slightly sweet taste. There are oats in the grain mix. I taste berries as it warms up.

Just slightly bitter. I don't know why they call it an IPA, as it tastes so much like the Matchless Bock, just milder. I don't really taste the hops but it's supposed to be brewed with Amarillo and El Dorado. This is quite interesting and very drinkable stuff. From the 16 oz can purchased at Central Market - Shoreline.

Murky grey orange... like an apricot that has had the colour saturation turned way down. Solid finger of white fluff sits atop for a brief moment before settling in to just a fuzz over the liquid. Solid lacing.

Nose is immediately aggressively sweet... but not fruit rounded sweetness more of a grassy sharp sweetness. There's some spicy notes to it as well. Letting it sit I get an almost hippie-store/nag champa earthy vein running underneath.

Flavour brings out some summer fruits (watermelon) and some lime and some earthy notes... the honey FLAVOUR is present, but without the sweetness... which actually really appeals to me (kind of like how you can get a hot sauce that has the flavour of the various chilis used in it without overwhelming with capsaicin heat. It's manifestation of honey flavours I've not really encountered before, and it's growing on me the more I get through the glass.
Soft body here with tiny pricks of carbonation that recede as soon as their job is done and leave me trying to remember if they were there at all. The honey flavours give the body a rich current through the middle that just gets better and better as I sip.

Solid ipa. Pours a hazy copper, nose is slightly citrusy. Drinks really smooth with the honey addition. Really into this. Not mind blowing, but a solid ipa that I'd totally drink again.
