From a can into a stem glass. Pours cloudy white gold / grapefruit color with head and lace. Aroma of grains, white grapefruit rind, hops. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of grains, grapefruit rind zest, malts, subtle mango, citrus notes. Overall refreshing, flavorful, tasty.

Another well done hazy IPA from Matchless. It’s not a gorgeous color, but has an opaque turbidity, allowing just a little light around the edges, that is just right for the style. Aroma is gently hoppy, a bit more sharp than fruity. Taste is very nice, a nice wide range of hop tones, more toward the piney end but with some distinct grapefruit veins running through it. Malt background is light and clear. Feel is really excellent, delightfully creamy with an astringent finish. Despite its sharp edges it has a rather gentle aspect to me. I quite like it.
