Guji Baby! Our first collab with Stumptown Coffee Roasters is a blend of Ethiopia Guji cold brew with a Centennial hop forward IPA. Look for all that smooth melon, lime, rhubarb and caramel with a clean lightly bitter finish.

Tasted on tap at the Dog & Pony in Renton, WA. It is apparently a collaboration between Matchless Brewing and a local coffee roaster.
L - Slightly hazy, nice amber color with creamy, persistent tan head.
S - Really interesting coffee/resinous hops nose that meld together into something unlike any aroma I’ve ever smelled—but inviting!
T - Malt flavors are washed over by the strong hops and rich coffee that dominate through to the finish. There is also a caramel, almost butterscotch note that works well with the other flavors.
F - Body is a bit thin. Carbonation light to moderate. Hugely strong bitterness, probably due to the coffee contributing to the expected hops bitterness. Moderate alcohol presence. Clean fermentation character.
O - A cool, surprisingly natural blend of flavors. I had heard of the concept of coffee IPAs but never had the chance to try one before. Now I’m a believer. When in the Seattle area this is a must-try!
