Pours a turbid brown with a finger of khaki foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is bitter, pale, earthy, bready malts. Lovely dryness here. Flavor profile is bready, earthy, pale, bitter malts with light, very minute, herbal and resin hops. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a soft velvety texture akin to the cask. Overall, a great bitter. It has soft malt qualities, but is tied together well.
