Another shitty Tavor beer - tart, no flavors, deep sludge on bottom, seems infected as many others have reported getting from Tavor on Untappd. Disappointing, not worth pouring on the orchids.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. No pop on opening. Pours a very dark mahogany brown with only a few sparse bubbles; nearly still. Aroma of biscuit and dark malt, raisins, dried and fresh plums, cinnamon and light oak. Flavor is biscuit malt, dried citron, raisins, Port wine, plums. A little citrus tartness develops in the finish. Medium bodied with very light carbonation. I think they nailed at least one part of fruitcake: the dried citron and other dried fruit. There is a little cakiness, but mostly fruitcake fruit. Hints of brandy and bourbon barrel oak, but the prominent barrel character is fortified wine, with a bit of a red vinous quality. Interesting and delivers what it promises, but I wanted just a little more old ale malt depth. Carbonation is off, but this tastes good enough that it is not that bad a negative.
