Clear yellow with a frothy foam in the Stella Artois goblet. This is brewed with Spalter hops, a classic German hop I haven't encountered in ages. Body is rather malty, but it has a bit of hoppy tang with the crisp finish.
Some grain, a touch of lime, and a resiny aftertaste. It's all rather delicate and just slightly perfumey. This is a very drinkable brew that mellows the classic Pilsener sharp edges. From the 16 oz can purchased at Central Market in Shoreline, Wash.
