Clear pale golden brew with plenty of foam in the Maredsous goblet. Fragrant with fresh hay and a touch of citrus. Grass is the key flavor, with a touch of tangerine peel. Somehow they get a lighter flavor out of Centennial, Amarillo, and Cascade hops.
There is a woody, almost astringent finish. Moderate bitterness in the aftertaste. Clean and crisp with an herbal note and a touch of lime peel. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.
