Quite murky appearance with adequate foam in the chalice. Hoppy, rich flavor, and a little funk. Aromas of melon and citrus. Seems like a recipe for success. It's really quite bitter though, on top of the robust Belgian yeasty bitterness. Makes me think of a rye beer, with the spice and grainy taste. But I see the fermentables list is a fruit salad of grains.
Four interesting hops in the mix, and it does have a lot of fruit and citrus zest taste, but maybe too much a a good thing. Lots of sediment so skip that last pour of sludge at the bottom. Certainly an interesting brew, though. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.

16oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a solidly turbid dark orange color with over an inch of white head that low-moderate retention and almost no lacing.
The aroma had a very light hint of grain, just a touch of yeast, and a lot of the currently typical fruity hops.
Identical on the tongue, some grain, some yeast, mostly the same old boring hops.
The body was on the light side of medium, as is typical for the murkbombs, and had a semi-sweet finish.
Drinkability was OK, the beer went down without a struggle.
Overall, the sum of the parts was greater than the whole. While I likely won't get another, it's probably worth trying if you see it.
