$ 6.89 (Including shipping and PA tax)/16 oz can ($ 0.431/oz) from Tavour, Seattle, WA. Reviewed 8/27/19.
“Batch 286.719 Canned 7/02/2019” clearly stamped on back of label. Stored at 42 degrees and served at 42 degrees in a hand-washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Appearance – 3.75.
First pour – Light yellow, slight haze.
Body – Light yellow, murky.
Head – Large (Maximum seven cm, aggressive center pour), white, high density, short duration, diminishing to an irregular three to eleven mm crown and a partial cap of varying thickness. Many small islands of lacing remain as the head retracts.
Lacing – Good. Large three-dimensional chunks of foam remain stuck to the sides of the glass as the level drops.
Aroma – 4 – Orange blossoms.
Flavor – 3.75 - Begins very slightly bitter with kind of a generic earthy/citrus taste. No alcohol (6.3% ABV) flavor or aroma, no dimethylsulfide, no diacetyl.
Palate – 3.5 – Medium, watery, lively carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.75. OK subdued flavor and good aroma. Looks good as well.
