16oz can from Boise Co-op. Clear, pale golden pour, foamy head subsides rapidly. Grainy aroma, corn, sweet, hint of lemon. Taste is sweet, grainy, biscuity, adjunct grains with an abrupt finish. Kind of tasty.

this is rock solid, clean, easy, flavorful, european, polished, nice summer lager with some personality, lovely on tap in summer weather. radiant resplendent yellow with a frothy inch of white head crowning it, very refined. the nose is fresh, a touch sweet as is permissible in the style, and beautifully fresh and floral with noble hop goodness, simple in a good way, old world authentic, nice minerality, recognizable lager yeast, effortless balance, a little lighter overall than many, but i dig the lower abv and this is real appealing. the flavor has nice contributions from all the elements, and its sudsy and frothy and well carbonated so it really hits on all levels. the hops have fresh cut grass and almost dandelion herbal summery lightly bitter freshness, while the grain is lightly honeyed to me, cerealy and earthy and grounded, just toasted, warm, and the yeast is mineral rich, decidedly german, and deployed to perfection, crisp and refreshing, each sip new again, infinitely drinkable. its brisk without being too fast, its light without missing anything, and it retains the right amount of like, this could actually have been made in germany. white florals as it warms, biscuit, really really good.

Pours a clear amber with ample foam in the Orval chalice. Warm and well balanced brew. More substance to the body and a malty taste. Mild grainy flavor with a touch of caramel. Plentiful carbonation. Hops are listed as Czech Saaz and Hallertau Mittelfruh. Highly quaffable. From the 16 oz can purchased in Bellingham.
