My only nitpick with the appearance really is that it's a little more opaque than I'd prefer in a pils. Mildly hazy dark yellow body like apple juice. Lovely crisp snow-white head that sits around for a while. Nice lacing.
Nose is fresh light and sweet. Some straw malts and a light herbal character, but it's mostly just inoffensive and there.
Flavour definitely offers a little more pizzazz though. Spicy herbal hops and comfortable malts, and a sweet warmth that I presume comes from the gin barrels. Finish comes back to bitter that's piney hops and herbal gin.
Creamy smooth and a good balance of sweet and bitter, I'm quietly a fan of this one. I do really like gin, but I don't think that I'd necessarily pin gin as the flavour I was getting if I didn't know about it up front. Knowing to look for it, though, it's definitely there.
I likes it.
