16oz can poured in to a nonic glass, Canned 2/24/20.
Look- Mostly hazy golden amber color. Large off-white head with great retention, heavy lacing. moderate carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Citrus (pithy grapefruit, orange and lemon), some melon and tropical fruit, caramel malt, rye spiciness and herbal/grassy hop notes.
Taste- Similar to the aroma. Pithy citrus, melon, mango/papaya, spicy sweet at first with a residual hoppy bitter finish. Nicely balanced.
Feel- Medium bodied, sweet and spicy side but fairly crisp. Medium carbonation on the tongue.
O- Pretty good, the spicy pepper notes play well off the sweet front. Fun to try but not a go to for me.
