Clear, rich golden color with white cap and lacing.
Distinctly malty nose with some citrus undertones.
Taste is malt forward quickly followed by some herbal and grassy flavors that blend nicely into the malt. There is a hop presence that is slightly firm without being bitter. Corn grits contribute to rounding out the body without adding sweetness or getting in the way of the malt. On the whole it's a well integrated brew that maintains a good balance.
Medium full texture with balancing carbonation.
I wouldn't have noticed this was an AAL without being told.

16oz can served in a nonic glass. Canned on 2/10/2020
Look- Slightly hazy golden color. Modest off-white head that quickly recedes to a ring of foam, sparse lacing. Light carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Bready malt, bright lemon and pineapple, light apple, black tea and herbal/grassy notes.
Taste- Nice lemony citrus, light pineapple, sweet bready malts, grassy/herbal hops and light spice.
Feel- Light bodied. Crisp with a rather dry, light bitter finish. Medium carbonation on the tongue.
O- A really nice adjunct lager. They used grits in the brewing process (hence the name) and the corn is completely hidden.
