Appearance - Pours a hazy amber with four fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - piney, citrus, leafy, floral, earthy, and leafy hops, pine resin, grapefruit and citrus peel, bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold piney, citrus, leafy, floral, earthy, and leafy hops upfront. The pine resin, grapefruit and citrus peel follow suit but it isn't as predominant as there is a fruity and tropical characteristic that comes through in the taste that throws a curveball. The bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the citrus elements taking precedence over the pine resin alongside a tingling warmth from the ABV.
Overall - An West Coast DIPA that started off on the right foot. However, for me, the citrus and tropical notes just cut out the best part of a true West Coast IPA - the pine resin and grapefruit peel, A pleasant tipple but if the tropical and citrus notes were toned down, it would allow for a well-rounded West Coast DIPA.

Plentiful foam on the clear yellow brew in the Hopleaf goblet. Delightfully sudsy mouthfeel with exuberant carbonation. Massive aroma of peach and citrus. Flavors of mango and sweet orange with the tang of marmalade.
Interesting hop mix with Bravo, Mouture, Centennial, and Amarillo. Moderately sweet but it goes well with the hops. Bitterness is rather restrained but Here is yet another delicious strong brew from Matchless. From the 16 oz can shipped from Tumwater.
