Inspired by the PNW forests where Nurse Logs give a leg up to young saplings, this IPA fuses a few tricks from the new era of Juicy IPA with some fundamental West Coast IPA malt backbone. Skagit Valley Malting’s Pilot Pilsner & Munich malts with their malted Oats are the forest floor sprouting Topaz, Amarillo & Citra hops. Lightly hazy with a radiant pale orange body, this IPA bursts with dank pine, bright orange and pithy grapefruit and ends with a smooth juicy finish. This recipe was put together by the one and only Goose Tamer - Dusty Bickford.

Pours a clear orangey amber with plentiful foam in the Brigand chalice. Lush and sudsy on the tongue. Mouth-filling flavor with moderate acidity. Aromatic with peach, mango, and a hint of lemon. Taste starts out citrusy, like tangerine, and sharp with a dose of malty sweetness. Interesting touches of sugar cookies, oatmeal, and honey.

This is described as a "Modern IPA." Your guess is as good as mine. Hops are listed as Topaz, Amarillo, and Citra. From the 15 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Canned 9/13/2021.
