Collaboration with Structures Brewing
The sun may be sleeping in this time of year but we and our friends at Structures are still cranking out the beer for all your solstice needs! Even with the pandemic still rearing its head we were able to collaborate virtually thanks to technology. And collaborate we did! This West Coast crusher has 3 of our favorite citrus and pine inducing hops: Mosaic, Motueka & Chinook. And rounded out with pilsner and caramalt adding mild notes of golden biscuits with just a touch of honey.

16oz can (dated 12/20/21) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a very cloudy orange-yellow color with 1-3/4 inches of bright white head that had good retention and very low lacing.
The aroma had hops in the lead, some pine and citrus, with an earthy mustiness as well. very low grain/malt.
Pretty similar on the tongue; musty, citrusy and piney hops with very low grain.
The body was a bit on the light side of medium, mostly smooth with a touch of coarseness, and a medium finish that leaned a bit towards dry.
Drinkability was OK, no real issues quaffing this one.
Overall, a more turbid and frooty than one generally sees in a WCIPA. Worth a shot if you see it.
