Poured from 16oz can into my Bell's tulip. Canned 5/2/22. According to the label, the hops here are Waimea, Azacca and Moutere.
Appearance: extremely murky dark-yellow hue with a thick finger of frothy ivory foam atop. As hazy as they come!
Smell: lightly tropical and juicy aroma with a dash of citrus zest and just a little bit of earthy dankness. The underlying malt base is quite sweet.
Taste: citrus zest right up front, with some of the earthy tones coming through as well. Malt is rather sweet, but that's normal in the style. I would say that this isn't a 100% successful example of the style for me, with the hops coming in as a bit more piquant than smooth and juicy.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a decent level of carbonation and a pretty nice creaminess.
Overall: not too bad a hazy, though not really exceptional.
