Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 7/3/23.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a relatively hazy, though not super hazy, body, and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam atop. Looks good!
Smell: lightly sweet malt with a citrusy aroma that has a little bit of a sharpness to it. It's like an herbal or rindey character that doesn't quite fit in with the smooth deliciousness typical of a NEIPA.
Taste: again, a lightly sweet malt with a pretty big tropical note. A bit of that sharpness is still there, although it plays well with the tropical guava/passionfruit thing that's going on here; it kind of reinforces the "juice" idea a bit.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and a pretty smooth creaminess.
Overall: this beer is growing on me. The aroma doesn't quite convey what the flavor delivers, which is a pretty juicy tropical IPA.

Pours an opaque golden honey with a finger and a half of foamy head that slowly settles to a thin cap with a curtain of lacing. Faint aroma of citrus, mostly orange. Taste follows nose.

Slight haziness with long-lasting foam in the New Belgium snifter. Aromatic with citrus. Tastes like tangerine, orange, and maybe some peach. Sharp on the tongue. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 7/18/2022.
This is described as a "Hazy India Pale Ale" but it's at the friendlier end of that sad street. Includes malted oats and flaked wheat, but it's not as raw and slippery as the norm. Still, it's a juicy and fruity quaff with orange juice in the foreground. Matchless at least makes it drinkable with a restrained acidity and some complexity of flavors.
