fresh and tasty hazy here, if not the most refined of the ipa types i have had from matchless to date, this one done in collaboration with living haus, who i have never heard of before. its a bit dense looking from the tap, orange colored and frosted over, with a tall and rising inch of white head, active but thick, if still short of milky and gross or anything, just sturdy. it smells super juicy and modern, summery fruitiness, melon, tangerine, and mango, tropical and citrus, clean and without greenness or bitterness really, at least in the nose, and the grain seems lighter than it looks, and the fermentation cleaner, pretty much just the hops here, nice. the flavor does have a little more malt support, but its still dry, a light nutty thing, white toast, a round medium body, but its all just a vehicle for the hops, which hit on cantaloupe, canned mandarin orange, and a little lime zest, maybe some pineapple mosaic character too, and then a bit more bitterness than my nose picked up, not overly intense, but its there, especially for a hazy. the hop profile is clean though, fruity, and unforced, very fresh too. a little more empty grain weight than i need in it, and even though the carbonation is good, there is something not quite complete for me in the texture. still, its always awesome to drink beer from matchless, and the hop profile here is wonderful, even if i wouldnt rank this among my all time favorites from them...

Canned 10/31, so it's FRESH! Label says it's a hazy and it lives up to it. Nice fruity aroma, clean and cool. Taste is very smooth, no doubt due to to the oats mentioned on the label. Pleasant bitterness, long-ish finish. This is a very nice, not spectacular, IPA.
