Clear amber with plentiful foam in the big goblet. Pleasing sudsy mouthfeel. A touch of malty sweetness. Aromatic with citrus and pine. Bright flavors and a zing of tangerine with peach. Resiny finish with moderate bitterness. Somewhat acidic with a woody aftertaste, lime peel, and more peach. The new hop YGH-1320 is from Yakima Quality Hops. This is really quite interesting and complex, as well as being a satisfying sipping beer. From the 16 oz can purchased at Metropolitan Market in Mercer Island. Canned 5/15/2023.

Beautiful pour. Generally clear, though I wouldn't describe it as clean or crisp per se. Nice finger+ of off white head. Settles, but still sticks around in a basic form.
Nose reminds me of yesteryear, and I'm here for it. Sweet citrus (grapefruit), and almost like a fir kind of coniferosity. Clean malts underneath.
Flavour isn't quite as vibrant as the aroma, but it's still solid, and quite enjoyable. Lightly sweet floral citrus and earthy piney bitterness join together, but they seem more content than aggressive. I'd also love just a touch more body underneath (not that it's thin, I just like a good caramel malty supporting base, personally, for this type of IPA), but it's more picking nits at this point.
This is ultimately a very drinkable throwback IPA. Personally, I miss the era when this was pretty standard for what to expect when buying an IPA, but I realize that I'm just shaking my fist at clouds while lamenting the teenagers on my lawn at this point.
