For this fresh hop delight, our Hop Artists (that's what we call our brewers this time of year) layered 800 lbs of fresh Sabro hops on a canvas of Pilsner, Malted & Flaked White Wheat to create notes of coconut cream, citrus and other tropical hues. This season we invite you to Drink Fresh!

Canned 9/11. As advertised, a hazy pour of medium amber beer. Light head, modest lacing. Nose is a definite herbal / floral aroma, fresh from the Sabro hops. Taste has a mild bitterness on top of a smooth and tasty malt base, which includes a dose of oats. The mid-range 6.4% ABV is very much in the background, so have another.

a nice expression of sabro, and obviously a fresh hopped beer, but to me its almost more of a pale overall than an ipa, mild in every way, and not quite underflavored but a little underwhelming on the whole, not as bold and pungent as anticipated, understated in a way i didnt expect, i still like it, but it took me a few minutes to sort of settle into it, i think i expected a more robust offering generally speaking, and the softer nature of this caught me off guard. unfiltered looking as it should be, on tap which is cool, the first matchless i have seen in idaho, i love these guys so hopefully much more to come, stoked to have them! its got a little brassy color depth to it, not totally pale, but pretty light still and with a sparse three quarter inch head slowly fading back. nose and taste hit with some pine, gin, and stone fruit, less distinctive than anticipated but still easy to appreciate as sabro, light green onion in the nose, more tropical in the flavor and cleaner, very little bitterness and a fresh hop green oily thing going on, but the whole thing seems mild to me. i like the mouthfeel of this, slick a little bit, almost a coconut oil taste and feel in the center, some decent grain support but still dry, and cleanly fermented. simple in the best ways, it lets the hops shine without being one dimensional, but im not sure this is up there with the best wet hop beers in recent memory for me, much as i am stoked to have been able to rip a pint locally here. lots of good going on, but i just want more of it. a little mango, apricot, and coconut to finish before grassy freshness washes it all out. tasty and poundable and good with spicy food!

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Cloudy golden pour, thin creamy white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, citrus. Taste brings light astringent notes, sticky pine, resin, floral. Damn I love Sabro!

Matchless calls this a "Hazy fresh hop India Pale Ale," but I can't quite bring myself to call it a NEIPA. It's just slightly hazy amber and a minimum of juice. Great fruity fragrance of peach and apricot. Flavors of peach and maybe a hint of coconut. The mouthfeel is lively with some malty sweetness to start. The flavor gets a little murkier as you sip, with an increasing acidity, but most of the glass it clean and tasty. From the 16 oz can dated 9/11/2023.
