Here's another fresh hop brew I thought I had overlooked, but it was just brewed a few weeks ago and canned 11/6/2023. It pours a clear dark orangey amber, an unusual shade for an IPA. Plenty of foam in the Belle-Vue Gueuze glass. Quite aromatic with pine and orange.
The flavor immediately makes me think of dried peaches— fruity with a sweet note and also a tangy note. Surprisingly malty but not overly sweet, just a rich mouthful with orange and dark caramel. Again it's unusual for a Fresh Hop brew. However with the label featuring a snowy cabin and poinsettias, it's altogether suitable for a Winter brew. Another excellent beer from Matchless.
