with the naming and branding on this i thought it had to be fruited, but its all hops, and it does in fact drink like its all hops, another tasty beer from these guys, glad to see a steady trickle coming into idaho! its cool that its not fruited. mandarina bavaria, citra, and chinook, cool combination, really dry hop forward in aroma and flavor, juiced up without any real bitterness, clean to drink, and somewhat light for a hazy, even with the oat body, this is smooth and less than medium bodied, moved swiftly by higher than average carbonation, very pleasant and drinkable hazy here. whitewashed pale yellow colored beer thats very cloudy but somehow isnt super thick, tidy looking as these go, short white head from the tap, great carbonation. the aroma and flavor here is about the same, and it does tease a little mandarin orange to me, tangerine zest, fleshy citrus more generally, some pink grapefruit to me too, citra is bold in here but the mandarina is what defines this i reckon, lightly weedy and dank but fast and not oily and heavy in the least. there is subtle vegetal character up front, lime in the middle as it warms, and some nice starchy grain underneath from start to finish, neat modern balance, really dry to me even though its juicy overall. i think this is pretty approachable and poundable, its a nice food beer, nothing forced or overdone, and the hops are awesome. nice for the hot summer weather, glad to have these guys here in idaho now!

Poured from 16oz can into my 8th Wonder chalice. Canned 5/13/24.
Appearance: pale yellow-golden hue with a moderate haze and a thick head of frothy eggshell foam, leaving quite an impressive lace on the glass.
Smell: an interesting, and kind of bizarre, mix of citrus peel and mint. An odd hop combo for a hazy … but I don’t dislike it!
Taste: moderately sweet malt with a mild orange character. Kind of the classic hazy watered-down-orange-juice flavor; the weird mintiness from the aroma is not really present in the flavor. The flavor doesn’t entirely pop, maybe, but it’s still quite good indeed.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I find this beer growing on me. It’s not overly complex, but it has a rock-solid hazy IPA foundation. Recommended!
