Out of the primordial depths comes an IPA with a breadth of Southern Hemisphere hops previously unknown to man. An IPA gushing with juicy notes of citrus, guava, mango, and other unknown tropical flavors all brought on by Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy & Motueka hops. I can tell you something about this beverage; we have just begun to learn about it, and the secrets it holds beneath, with aromas of lychee, lime and gooseberry. We can't rule out that more flavors and aromas aren’t hiding somewhere in this universe. But why not among us in a world that is already known?
Hops: Vic Secret, Motuere, Topaz
Grain: Pilsner, Flaked Oats

Draft at The Handlebar. Hazy yellow/ golden pour with a small cap of white head. Aroma is floral, hoppy, grassy with a light tropical edge. Taste is green, grassy, tropical with a floral finish.

Poured from 16oz can into my 8th Wonder chalice. Canned 12/23/24 — fresh!
Appearance: medium orange hue with plenty of haze and a finger of ivory foam atop.
Smell: toasty malt with a bit of sweetness and a ton of dank, herbal, earthy hops. I don’t really know Motuere hops, or honestly even Topaz, but the flavor here is something like juicy loam or moss … but in a good way.
Taste: a bit more sweet than the aroma let on, but with tons of that dank, earthy, loamy hoppiness. Like … candy that tastes like a Pacific Northwest rainforest. Very weird, but very good.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a pretty strange beer! Like … it tastes like the forest floor, like ferns and moss and weed. Maybe I am just enjoying the novelty of it, but for now, I’m into this beer.
