high saturation hazy ipa here, a little filling and long on the palate, maybe not as well refined as the best in this style space right now, but a quality product with a nice bold hop profile and like the tenth new matchless ipa ive seen around boise recently, they really are sending a lot of stuff this way, which is awesome, keep it coming! the aroma on this one is a mix of citrus zest and pith as well as a grassy note, very fresh, somewhat high intensity right away to me, layers of marmalade, coconut, and peach are also present, and there is some sweetness to me exacerbating the fruitiness, bringing it forward. pale grain base, even maybe some rawness to it, starchy and pretty dense but without a ton of aroma or flavor to me, its fresh enough, but to me kind of bigger overall than it needs to be on the palate and in the belly for how moderate its contribution is to the flavor in particular, this would be better a little lighter, if i am being perhaps unnecessarily critical of a beer i liked a lot. orange juice and weed gummies in the flavor, that sweetness persisting a little, some lime zesty freshness to this giving it a needed lift, light mango and tangerine through the back end, bellini vibes, some grassy hops too, herbal and fresh and all, very layered drinking experience, tasty for sure, even if somewhat limiting in terms of how much of this i really want. it warms up a little heavy too, but is modern and punchy with all that fruity hop robustness the whole way, and at temperature it really pops. nice mix of hops in this, a little fresher to me than some of the others of theirs that have come in recently, solid all the way around if not a standout among the very impressive range of hoppy beers at the alefort tent this year.
