I work for an Austrian company and last Friday we received, fresh of the ocean container: a 12 pack of flip-top bottles. The bottle indicates the 100th Anniversary of the city of Frastanz in 2002 although the label on the neck indicates a date of 12/05. Not sure if that is an exp date. The light brown bottle allows you to see the plentiful amount of yeast sediment at the bottom. The beer poured clean and was just a touch cloudy even though I decanted for the first part of my drinking. The hops were mild but had a nice bitterness that almost hinted at a lager. The malt flavor was light and sweet that reminded me of a Helles. This brew was very tasty and finished clean. Appeared as a Hefe-weizen but not since it is a cellar beer. If this beer was aged, or if it was fresh the flavor was awesome, fresh and was very drinkable. This is one you could drink several of. Thanks to the brothers for setting this up so I could review. Cheers, Joe
