Black colour with a decent cappucino head that slowly sinks in but leaves the surface covered. Full nose of grapefruit, peach, blossom, coffee, chocolate and biscuits. The taste is also full of flavour, though the stout part of the black IPA gets a bit weaker after a while: the biscuit tends to manifest itself here. Mouth feel is medium bodied, refreshing and mild. This is a nice beer, with good intensity, balance and complexity, though it would have been top notch if they manage to perserve the stout characteristics in the taste.
