From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This excellent little imperial
pours a dark blackish brown with a nice head of light brown foam that settles
to a thin ring, light film, and shows some light lacing. Nose of deeply
roasted coffee, cream, subtle char, and dark chocolate malts with a touch of
vanilla. Flavors hit the perfect note of dark cold brew coffee, heavy roast, subtle
char, cream, dark chocolate, light vanilla, and earthy malt notes. Mouth feel is
full, smooth as silk, coating, rich, low carbonation, and finishing with a nice
bitter malt finish that is medium dry.
Overall----again, more excellence from a great little brewery!

Look - black as expected with a nice head that goes away quick and very slight skimming
Smell - rich roasty coffee chocolate smells
Taste - cold brew with a slight cream taste, just fantastic. A little
Roasty chocolate too
Feel - medium body creamy with a light carb
Overall - really great coffee stout
