From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This SOLID doppelbock
pours a dark reddish brown with a very nice head of khaki foam that
fades to a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and displays some nice lacing.
Nose of toasted malts, dark raisin bread, and brown sugars. Flavors hit
the note with dark brown sugars, dark breaded notes, raisins, dates,
and crust dashed with cherries. Mouth feel is medium, medium light
carbonation, smooth, warming, and finishing faintly dry.
Overall---more excellence from a fantastic brewery
Cheers

From the brewery via crowler in my glass.
Ruby brown color with a finger thick off-white head. Fair retention.
Roasty malty sweetness and some caramel notes.
Medium body and carbonation.
I enjoyed this one very much.
