Barrel Aged Black Bear

From the 375 ml bottle in a snifter. This excellent brew pours a dark
blackish brown with a very nice head of light brown foam that settles to
a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some nice light lacing. Nose of
dark chocolate, spicy rye, oak, vanilla, rich caramel, subtle char, toffee,
and faint oak. Flavors surpass the nose with oak, vanilla, toasted coconut,
toffee / butterscotch, dark coffee, dark chocolate, and spicy rye, and a hint
of marshmallow cream.Mouth feel is full, smooth, rich, coating, medium
light carbonation, lightly warming, and finishing lightly dry and with a
bitter malt note.
