500 ml bottle, no dating I could find on it. Big thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch cola-like tan head that fizzled away quickly. Not much lacing at all. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like vanilla, dark chocolate, roasted malt, coconut and some bourbon. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some oak, caramel and earthy flavors. I think it's more chocolatey tasting compared to the other flavors, but it doesn't overpower the other flavors. Wish the barrel character was a little stronger though but that's a minor complaint. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's slick and a bit rich with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, hopefully Narrow Path will make this one again in the future!

Look - Black and thick with a nice tan head that leaves a really great tan rimming and lacing
Smell - fairly subtle smells of chocolate and oak very slight coconut
Taste - pretty easy going and def not pastry, more traditional Imperial stout but with the coconut chocolate and barrel. Not overly adjunct but blended well with a little more chocolate than anything.
Feel - Full body creamy very very light carb
Overall - pretty nice beer

From the 500 ml bottle in a snifter via the brewery! This exceptional imperial
pours a rich obsidian with a moderate head of khaki foam that settles to a thin
ring, thin dusty layer, and sport some nice light lacing. Nose of bourbon, oak,
vanilla, coconut, chocolate fudge, and subtle brewers licorice dashed with
dark roast and rich brulee. Flavors hit it out of the park with toasted coconut
and chocolate fudge drenched over bourbon, mellow oak, vanilla, brulee,
mellow char, moderate coffee notes, and dark berry hints of blackberry and blueberry.
Mouth feel is full, smooth, rich, coating, moderately warming making this one
dangerous, and a sweet finish that is not cloying considering the sweetness of
the malts and bourbon that ends with a pleasant bitter malt note.
Overall, fantastic balance, balance, and balance.
An exceptional brew!
Cheers
