Strong fruity in aroma, with a hint of alcohol and subtly some green hops in the nose, together with a somewhat spicy touch.

Full-bodied. Hoppy and fruity (melon) in taste, a touch sweet and with a quite strong bitterness in the mouth from the aftertaste in which there is also a spicy touch. The aftertaste is dry.

A characterful beer, as a tribute to a characterful woman! We brew this beer to honor Lucy Loes, a delicious tripel of 7.5% brewed with hops from Poperinge!

Copenhagen 29/10 2023. 75 cl bottle from the brewery. Blue label in 't Koelschip's usual design with an English tagline about brewing delicious beer.

Pours unclear golden yellow with a big white head. Quite bubbly. Like champagne. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides the glass. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, fruity odor mingling with a tart, sourish scent. Sweet pale malts, sweet pear and honey melon. Citrus and lemon. Whiff of moly gym bag.

Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a tart touch. Atad thin. Lingers shortly. Finish is dry and bit sour.

A tad thin and watery despite considerable ABV.
