I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a five sample flight whilst in town for my biznet's holiday party. It poured an opaque dark amber with tan head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had fresh coffee ground notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base slightly coffee roast presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
