Your great-great grandfather would be happy you are drinking this beer. It is a clean, crisp, and brilliantly clear lager that packs much more flavor than you might expect. Soft malt and slight sweetness in the delicate aroma mingle with subtle, floral hops. A high percentage of corn lends the perception of slight sweetness even though the beer is quite dry. A respectable level of hop bitterness and flavor hearken back to pre-Prohibition days when American lagers were . . . well . . . better. This is a substantial Pilsner that is at the same time approachable and flavorful.

Pours a pale yellow with a foggy transparency. Head is three fingers of white fuzzy, dense foam. Aroma is crispy wafers, biscuits, nutty, and mild bready malts. Grassy, zesty, and herbal hops behind. Flavor profile drives the same malts forward - wafers, biscuits, and mild bread, on top of herbal, grassy, and earthy hops. Very crisp. Mouth feel is crispy with a medium-thin consistency. Only thing that breaks it up is a slight fuzzy texture. Overall, wonderfully crisp and refreshing. It's punchy with a soft finish.

On draught at Yellowstone Garage.
Pours a brilliantly clear straw gold with a little head of foam, pretty good lacing.
Smells lightly hoppy, grainy, some sweet notes.
Taste is grainy, corny, kinda sweet, bits of grassy hops.
Light body with medium carbonation.
Not very Pilsner like at all but decent.

Pale yellow body; thick, lively carbonation; huge, rocky, white head. Light cereal grain aroma with a stronger presence of a spicy hop character. Mild sweetness to the flavor; somewhat vegetal notes; very strong hop bitterness. Medium body; some underlying sweetness yet finishes dry overall.
Looks great yet suffers a bit with being too sweet with residual sugars adding a tad too much body to the beer.

L: Clear straw gold color and a small white head with just a few specs of lacing.
S: Sweet Apple and malt, a little bit of baked bread and ends with a note floral Noble hops.
T: Sweet Apple and malt a little baked bread, ends with a strong note of floral Noble hops.
F: Not nearly as crisp as I expect from a pilsener.
O: This beer just doesn't do it for me, it is too sweet for a pilsener and not crisp enough.
