Thanks Jared for this 'gem'.
A - Poured in to my Duvel tulip after a nice healthy GUSH from the bottle a slightly cloudy golden hue with a six or so finger head that fades slowly to leave light lacing as it sank down.
S - Aromas of cereal grains, light malt sweetness. Apples are on the fainter side but pleasant applewood smoke. Smoke is not overpowering.
T - Taste is rather unpleasant. Light grains, sweet malts, fair amount of almost overly sweet apple, like an apple that's past ripe. The smoke is much more prominent and clashes with the assertive apple cider like sweetness. The smoke is almost chalky and char forward.
M - Mouthfeel is really thin, carbonation is super light. Very watery.
O - Overall this was an all around disappointing beer. Thing gushed pretty good on me which messed with the appearance and mouthfeel. Too smoke forward on the taste. Unfortunately it ended up being a brewery tick, nothing more.

Pours a light fluffy creamy head 1/2 finger fades semi slowly, nice lacing, semi hazy honey orange color.
Nose brings plenty of smoke, smoked wood, sweet candy malts, lots of apple, smoked apple or that apple you wrap in foil and throw into the camp fire to cook it before eating.
Taste brings lots more smoke again, typical smoked malt but they used too much I think, smoked applewood, as well as plenty of apple flavor and apple cider, again the apple thrown into campfire, some sweet toasted malt, a hint of earthy grassy hop bitterness.
Mouth is med bod, decent carb maybe a little too much.
Overall interesting beer, apple and apple cider, lots of smoked applewood and smoked malt, sweet malt, etc, not a great beer but unique interesting beer from a place that primarily makes wine and cider.
