On tap at Iron Tug Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a light reddish color (not gold, but that's expected with the raspberry addition), with a small head and not much lacing.
This smells like caramelly and fruity coffee, dried raspberry, a sort of cake like bready sweetness, and candied lemon.
The coffee leads the way with this one, with a nice chocolatey, caramelly, and slightly fruity feel to it, outside the fruity feel added by the raspberry. The wafers add a cake-like sweetness. Despite the possibility for this being overly sweet, it manages to swerve just outside of being cloying.
This is lighter bodied, but not thin, with a no real booziness to it. It's pretty drinkable.
This was a nice surprise. It's completely silly overall, but it does taste good.
