Sanford Brewing Company

Had lunch with Da Boss here on 1-31-24. Vibe was pretty good as it had a decent sized dining room/bar. Room for 10 at the bar and there were 15-20 four seat tables.

Quality of the beers we had were good. I enjoyed the ESB and Da Boss had a Pale Ale which was enjoyed.

Service was good but a bit distracted. The brewing team was actually serving given the equipment malfunction today. They were a bit disorganized, but they were friendly and fun to chat with.

Selection was very good as there were 24 SBC and guest brews available.

Food was awesome as we thoroughly enjoyed the decadent Philly Mac N Cheese and the Bleu Burger.

Overall an unexpected, good stop. Highly recommend for a good bite to eat and a solid beer!

 

For a young 2 year old brewery they have 17 beers on tap with 8 guest taps of local and national know breweries. A full line up styles from a saison, ESB, a quad and some solid IPA's. Battle 8s equipped with 2 Tv's for the sports junkies, live music performers and patio seating. Open door atmosphere and a kitchen serving gastro pub style eats. Sandwiches and pretzels for the beer heads. Couldn't ask for much more. Oh, and beer to go (various breweries in the cooler - singles) plus growler fills.

Most of their beers are in house brews as it should be. You get a nice view of the brewery works from the restaurant. You can take the kids here and they have nice huge pretzels & make your own mac n cheese. Lots of flight options make for a great evening

I've been going to this brewery for well over a year now and I'm smitten. They have on average 12 or more in-house crafts on tap at all times with several other guest taps as well. The food is phenomenal, they take some traditional brew pub fare and put their delicious twist on it. Try the pretzel!!!!!! There beers never disappoint in flavor, variety, and quality. The staff is excellent and the owners are super friendly and will chat you up no problem. Please please please give them a try! You won't regret it.

 

Beer was good. Some where great, like the razzmataz, and others were disappointing, like the killa vanilla. We came here because the food got a great review in the paper. The fried pretzel we had ( yes a fried pretzel) was great. I need to come back for a full meal.

This new brewery in downtown historic Sanford has a lot of character, great beer, excellent service, fine food. Part of a growing beer centric city that will soon have 5 breweries within walking distance of each other. This is a community brewhouse, with a rich oak paneled taproom, custom reclaimed wood bar and tables, large glass viewing into the working brew house, and gastropub fare to complement the solid craft beer selections. Dog friendly, family friendly. Great selection of hand crafted house sodas too.
