12oz can, in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Pours a darker golden-orange body, one finger white head, short retention, no lacing. Seems like this brewery has an issue with head retention, perhaps related to the water. Anyway, smell is mostly a medium caramel barley-type grainy sweetness, a little orange marmalade, light resinous grass. Nothing too special, but promising. Flavor is pale malt sweetness, caramel, a bit of grassiness, a bit of somewhat nutty sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium-lighter bodied, crisp and refreshing, good carbonation with a bit of grainy floral notes on the finish. This is a fairly tasty brew; like an under carbonated Hopalicious (to make a comparison to a local beer of mine in Madison, Wisconsin by Ale Asylum).
